RF/Microwave Test Enginner

  Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain RF and Microwave Functional and System level test equipment. Responsible to manufacturing for all Test Set related issues.
• Ensure collection of yield and parametric data to support design, component, manufacturing, and test process defect reduction.
• Drive and own yield improvement initiatives within test engineering, with design, via component vendors and with upstream manufacturing process owners. Use Teamwork Excellence.
• Develop and maintain procedures for test process and equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Provide leadership in the area of troubleshoot. Gain knowledge, collaborate with design authorities, create troubleshoot guides, and teach troubleshoot technicians.
• Introduce new products expediently and successfully, using validation plans, FMEA analysis, detailed planning, and relationship building with the customer technical authority.
• Drive for improvements in data collection and analysis techniques and traceability.

 Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree or Technologist diploma and relevant experience testing or designing RF or Microwave products.
• Competent with RF test equipment and RF test measurement methods.
• Self starter, demonstrated initiative skills, demonstrated teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills, oral and written.  Competent in spoken and written English.
